The second edition of the annual Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup has been officially launched at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The event which was chaired by Dr. Sheikh Yunus Mohammed on behalf of the National Chief Imam Dr. Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu saw dignitaries from the Ghana Football Association, Professional Footballers Association of Ghana and sponsors gracing the occasion.
This will be the second edition of the annual Ramadan Cup which commenced same time last year.
Twelve communities will be competing in this year's event, an addition of three more communities over last year's participants.
Shukura, Nsawam Zongo and Maamobi are the three new communities joining Nima, Madina, Darkuman and New Town.
The other communities are New Fadama, Tudu, Sabon Zongo, Alajo and Ashiaman.
