FC Lorient striker Majeed Waris is confident of hogging the headline next season but prays for an injury-free season.
The Ghana international frequented the treatment room several times but managed to score 11 goals in 23 appearances.
Waris, 24, lost his place in the Black Stars squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and could miss out on the tournament in Gabon if his physical frailties persist.
"For me to have a successful season in the upcoming campaign, I need to be injury free," he told Metro TV.
"This will really help me attain my potentials by the end of the season."
