Lech Poznan midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh presented a jersey to his childhood friend Rabiu Mohammed who has been ruled out for six months and wished him all the best.

Both players are back in the country after enjoying a relatively successful season.

Aziz Tetteh moved to Poland after three stellar years with Platanias in Greece where he was the clubs deputy skipper while Rabiu Mohammed enjoyed consistent playing time with Kuban Krasnodar all be it they eventually got relegated from the Russian top flight.

Tetteh cast in the mode of Michael Essien presented a jersey to the tough tackling midfielder who is fighting to be fit for Ghana's AFCON campaign next January.

'Rabiu is like a brother to me and I have to ensure that I do my part by encouraging him to be strong,' Tetteh told GHANAsoccernet.com

'We all know very well that injuries are part of our job but we need to keep moving on.'

'It was really nice to see my brother once again.'
Rabiu went under the knife in Germany to correct a cruciate ligament rupture and is expected to be out for at most six months.
