Premier League debutantes Dreams FC will welcome Hearts of Oak to the Dawu Park in the final game of the first round of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The host won their last game at Obuasi after beating New Edubiase 1-0 while the Phobians at home lost 1-0 to impressive Liberty Professionals.

Dreams FC in their last three home games have struggled to get a convincing win as in their last game at home against Medeama, they threw away two goals to draw 2-2.

The Phobians this season have been very solid in their away games, they have played seven games without a defeat - picking four wins and drawing three.

Former Hearts of Oak player now with Dreams FC Eric Gawu spoke to  Pulse.com.gh  ahead of Sunday's clash.

'Our win against New Edubiase has boost our morale going into Sunday's game, we are aware that we are playing Hearts of Oak they have rich history but our aim is to get the three points.

'We have young players in the team who are looking up for a game like this, we played against Kotoko at home which we lost but against Hearts of Oak it will be a different ball game.

'At the end of the first round we have to be among the top four teams and a win against Hearts of Oak will take us there. Our supporters should come in their numbers and we will get the three points for them.'

Hearts of Oak midfielder Sabbah Laryea says their loss to Liberty Professionals in now history and their aim now is to storm Dawu and beat Dreams FC for the maximum points at stake.

'We disappointed our fans in Liberty's game but that is history now, we have to think about our next game at Dawu.

'Dreams FC have been very good this season but we have no choice than to beat them for the three points. We want to make amends; Sunday's game will be very special, we are fired up for it because we want to keep our unbeaten away record.'

It will be the first time the two teams will be meeting in the Ghana Premier League. Dreams FC after 14 games have amassed 22 points, scoring 14 goals and conceding 17 and they lie sixth on the log sheet

The Phobians have picked 25 points after 14 games; they have scored 17 goals and conceded 11. They currently sit at the second position on the table.
