The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has written to the Ghana Football Association expressing his displeasure over the body's decision to snub him during a friendly international between the Black Stars 'B' and the Japanese U-23.

According to the former Ghana Broadcasting Corporation sports journalist, the football governing body has disrespected his position by not informing the match which was played about two weeks ago.

'I will say it clearly that I want the right thing to be done. I will not allow anyone to disrespect my position,' the MP Odododiodio Constituency stated in an interview with Nhyira FM.

Mr. Nii Lantey reckons the FA decision not to inform the Ministry is synonymous to an individual going against the law which is punishable.

He has demanded the FA do the 'right' things if they don't want to have problems with him.

'If somebody offends the law, the law will deal with the person. So if the GFA decides that they will not inform us anytime they are going to have a friendly international for the Black Stars or any of the national teams, I really don't believe they will do that.

'If it was hindsight, I have reminded them. My letter has gone to them and I have indicated to them my displeasure about the action they took and I don't think they would want to do that by having problems with me because I wouldn't want to have problems with them," he said.

The Black Stars 'B' lost the game by 3-0.
