Statistics on match day 14 There were a lot of surprises on match day 14, as both Accra Hearts of Oak and New Edubiase United fell at home to Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC, respectively, while Kotoko and Aduana Stars unbeaten runs were halted.

Hearts of Oak suffered their 3rd defeat at home this season, when the Scientific Soccer lad piped them by a goal to nil behind closed doors at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium. Wa All Stars and Kotoko were the other teams that beat The Phobians in Accra. Ironically Hearts are yet to lose an away league game, the only team with this enviable feat thus far in the league.

Inter Allies returned to winning ways, after having failed to record a win in their 6 previous league games, when they hammered Berekum Chelsea 3-1 on Wednesday. The win was the first since beating another Brong Ahafo side, Bechem United 4-0.

Ebusua Dwarfs came from a goal down to beat title hopefuls, Aduana Stars 2-1 to record their first win in 6 league games and lifted themselves from the bottom of the league table for the first time in several weeks. This is their first win in three games after parting ways with J.E Sarpong and handing the job over to Prosper Nartey, a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast.

The defeat handed to Aduana Stars was their first in 7 league games (W5, D1) in their 6 previous games prior to the midweek tussle.

Rejuvenated Asante Kotoko's impressive run of 4 straight wins was halted by Wa All Stars at the Wa Park when they piped them by a goal to nil.

Wa All Stars are back to the top of the league table, after beating Kotoko and leaders Hearts of Oak stumbling at home to Liberty Professionals.

The league champions, Ashanti Gold, who are draw experts, added another one to their name when they held Techiman City to a 1-1 draw at the Len Clay Sports Stadium, Obuasi to take them to 9 draws in 14 league games this season.
