Wa All Stars snapped Asante Kotoko's four-match winning run after beating the Porcupine Warriors 1-0 in Wa thanks to a goal from Richard Arthur in the first half.

Kotoko had picked up wins against Hearts of Oak, Dwarfs, Bechem United, and Inter Allies in their last four matches but they could not extend their winning run to five games.

They are now 4th with 23 points while All Stars are on top of the table with 25 points but they have played a game more than Hearts of Oak who are due to face Liberty later today.

While Kotoko were being stopped , Inter Allies broke their losing run in the league after beating Berekum Chelsea 3-1.

Frederick Boateng got two goals and Edward Adjiklo got the other one for the home side while Saddick Adams scored the consolation goal for Chelsea.

The Tema-based team had not recorded a win in their last five matches (against Medeama, Techiman City, WAFA, AshGold and Asante Kotoko).

Allies have moved up to 14th with 14 points and Chelsea are 6th on 20 points.

Medeama came back from two goals to beat WAFA 3-2 at the Tarkwa T and A Park.

Martin Antwi and Komla Agbegniadan put the visitors ahead but Daniel Amoah, Bernard Ofori and Kwesi Donsu scored for the Yellow and Mauves.

Medeama are now 10th with 17 points and WAFA are 7th on 19 points.

Defending champions AshantiGold got another draw this season after conceding a second half equaliser from Ebenezer Agyapong.

The Miners had taken the lead through Safiu Mumuni in the first half.

The result places AshGold 12th on the table with 15 points while Techiman City are 8th on 19 points.

Ebusua Dwarfs got a 2-1 win over Aduana Stars at the Cape Coast Stadium to move to 15th on the table but they had to fight back after Aduana scored through Richard Mpong.

Bright Lukman and Nicholas Gyan scored twice in the second half to give Dwarfs the victory.

Aduana are 3rd on the table with 23 points. In other results, Bechem United drew 1-1 Hasaacas.
