MAY 25, 2016 LISTEN

Newly-promoted English Premier League side Middlesbrough are keen to bolster their squad by acquiring Danish winger Viktor Fischer who will offer support to Ghana international Albert Adomah on the flanks.

Adomah, 28, was the only out-and-out winger in Boro's team, this has meant Stewart Downing or Cristhian Stuani have had to occupy a more unorthodox wide role in the 2015/16 season and meant that Boro's team has at times been very one-sided with most of the play coming down Adomah's flank.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported that a €5 million fee was agreed between the team who finished second in the Eredivisie and the team who finished second in the Sky Bet Championship.

Adomah played a crucial role for Boro in the promotion campaign as they ended the seven-year spell on the wilderness by securing their return to the English top-flight.

He is expected to feature prominently for Middlesbrough in the coming season.
