Dauda Mohammed says the national U-20 team of Ghana were better than their Ethiopian counterparts, despite losing 2-1 and would overturn the score line in the second leg on home soil

Black Satellites lost 2-1 on Sunday in Ethiopia in the first leg of the Africa Youth Championship qualifiers. They conceded 2 quick goals in the first half, before pulling one back through Jonah Osabutey.

Dauda Mohammed has stated that they played against the wind in the early stages and that affected the play of their defence in the early minutes of the game.

However, the Asante Kotoko striker believes they will turn the tide in their favour and book a qualification into the African Youth Championship finals to be staged in Zambia this year.

'We lost focus in the early minutes and that resulted in the two goals we conceded through defensive blunders. Although they beat us they were not tactically disciplined,' Dauda Mohammed said after the game.

'The wind was against us in the first half, so the defenders found it very difficult to clear their lines and that even caused the blunders.'

'In the second leg we will correct our mistakes and overturn the score line.
