League Report Ghana Premier League: Kotoko accuse Coach Didi Dramani of sabotage
MAY 18, 2016 LISTEN

Accra Rep for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Edmund Ackah has blamed Coach Didi Dramani of Dauda Mohammed's inability to join them for their league game against Bechem United on Wednesday.

Kotoko agreed with the head coach of the Black Satellites to allow their first choice striker to feature for them against the Bechem lads, before leaving for national assignment in Kenya with the national U-20 team, which would let him miss two league games instead of three.

The 23 times league champions made flight arrangement to ensure Dauda Mohammed fly from Accra to Sunyani by sending him the ticket code, but the player wasn't able to join the team for the match day 12 clash.

Edmud Ackah has therefore lashed out at Mas-ud Didi Dramani for sabotaging Kotoko over the use of Duada Mohammed against Bechem United.

'Dauda Mohammed is our leading striker, so we agreed with Didii Dramani that in order not to let him miss three league games, while on national duty with the Black Satellites against Kenya, he should release him to us against Bechem United," he told Nhyira FM.

'But Didi Dramani has prevented him from joining the team for our game against Bechem United on Wednesday. We bought ticket from African World to ensure, he feature in the game, because he is our marksman.

'Who does Didi Dramani thinks he is, does he thinks he is on top of the world because he is a national team coach? We all know how to play this game. We pay the player and not Didi Dramani, so he should tread cautiously.'

However, according to Didi Dramani, he has no such intentions and he even put in much effort to ensure Dauda Mohammed make it for the against Bechem United, but there were problems with the flight arrangement.

'I arranged for a Taxi to pick Dauda Mohammed from camp early in the morning to enable him leave Prampram to the airport," the former Kotoko coach told Nhyira FM.

'But I received a call later from him that he couldn't board the flight because the ticket code didn't match the airline. I told him I wanted to send him mobile money, but he said it was too late to do that, so I did nothing to sabotage Kotoko regarding Dauda inability to join them for their game against Bechem United.

Dauda Mohammed is the danger man in Kotoko's attack, having scored 4 league goals in his last 5 games
