Aram Grant’s arrival has motivated the Local Black Stars – Maxwell Konadu

The arrival of Avram Grant in Japan ahead of the clash between the Japanese U23 side and the Local Black Stars is a morale booster for the side, according to head coach Maxwell Konadu.

The Black Stars head coach joined the team in Japan on Tuesday following the arrival of the team in the country on Sunday.

And the head coach of the Local Black Stars has lauded his arrival saying it will help his side in the clash.

'Avram Grant is also here. He has been here since Tuesday and the players are happy.

'He handled the training session yesterday and that has motivated the players ahead of the game,' Maxwell told Asempa FM.

The Local Black Stars will be taking on the Japanese side in the MS&AD Cup this evening in an international friendly.
