Lech Poznan midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh admits European football is now almost impossible

Poland based midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh says their 2-0 defeat to Cracovia Krakow over the weekend all but put paid to their European ambitions.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been impressive since joining the dethroned Polish champions in the summer from Greek side Platanias.

But Lech Poznan has failed to reach the heights of last season that saw them dazzle in the Polish League and win the title.

Their latest defeat sees them drop to seventh on the league table with just two games to end the season.

'It's been a really difficult season for us but the target was to at least secure European football,' Tetteh told the Polish media

'But after this defeat it looks more impossible at the moment.'

'We will give it our best in the last two games and see where we end up.'

Tetteh has played in 26 league games this season and is a fan favourite at the stadion Poznan.
