Ghana's sole contender in African club competition Medeama SC has left for South Africa ahead of their Confederation Cup first leg play-off against Sundowns on Saturday.
The Tarkwa giants who were original scheduled to travel last Wednesday had to postpone it to Thursday and they have now left Accra for Johannesburg enroute to Pretoria.
The Mauve and Yellows in the ongoing campaign have been very fantastic, eliminating Libyan giants Al Ahly Tripoli and Alhly Shendi from Sudan.
A win over the now crowned South African champions Sundowns in the two leg affair will send the Ghanaian side into the group face of the competition and it will be the first time in the history of the club. Medeama's squad for South Africa
