06.05.2016 LISTEN

Former Hearts of Oak and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim striker, Prince Tagoe, has indicated that he's not retired from Black Stars.

Speaking in an interview, Tagoe, who is affectionately called the 'Prince of Goals'  reiterated that he is not done with national team even though he doesn't have a club now.

" I've not said anywhere that I've retired from the Black Stars. I know I'll be back in the fold of the black stars again in the not too distant future," he exclusively told Happy FM.

Prince Tagoe, who has 7 goals from 36 appearances for the senior national team, believes his break from the national team will end once he lands a club and starts scoring.

" My hibernation from the team because I am not attached to any club now where I can show my worth that I'm the same Prince Tagoe who scores lots of goals. I hope that once I land a club and starts scoring, I'll definitely be invited to the national team again," the 29 year old said.

Tagoe last featured for the black stars in the 2-0 defeat to the Eagles of Mali in the 2012 AFCON in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
