Black Stars vice-captain Andre Ayew scored a brace that sunk Liverpool in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Reports of the Ghana international offering to play for Liverpool for free started circulating after his heroics against the Anfield club.

Ayew has impressed at the Wales club and received transfer interest from other clubs due to his performances. The player says he will be better next season but refused to commit to his Swansea City team.

Andre Ayew said:
'I'm here and I'm happy and the guys here have really helped me a lot in the squad.

'For my first season I'm quite happy with what I've done but when you come to a new country and a new league you have ups and downs and I want to do better.

'The season has not gone the way I imagined when I signed and we all wanted to do better, especially with the way we started, but that's part of football.

'As players, a team you learn from it and what's important right now is to finish the season well and after the season we will see what's going to happen.

On his future at Swansea City, the former Olympique Marseille player said:

'I am at Swansea and I am happy here, everything is okay, but in football you never know what can happen.

'I am playing my football here at a good club with good people around so I just want to continue doing my job but whatever happens will happen.

'I have a contract here so if it's here I am going to continue playing my football then good. If not, then at the end of the season you have a chance to discuss and see what happens.

'But I am happy to be a Swansea player and happy that the fans adopted me very well. It makes me try to give my best every time.'

Andre Ayew joined Swansea City last summer from French Ligue 1 team Olympique Marseille.
