Accra, May 4, GNA - Kotoko interim coach, Michael Osei has expressed interest in taking up the Kotoko coaching job permanently after his side beat Accra Hearts of Oak by a lone goal at the Accra sports stadium.

Kumasi won the match by a lone goal at the Accra sports stadium after a shock defeat to New Edubiase in the week nine encounter at Kumasi.

In a post-match interview at the media centre, Michael Osei was very emphatic on the Kotoko job 'I am very much ready, now everything will depend on the management, I am very ready to take up that challenge if I am given the team' he said.

Michael Osei took over as an interim coach after Kotoko parted ways with their coach David Duncan for poor performances that took Kotoko to the bottom of the league for the first time in its history.

Hearts goalkeeper, Abdoulaye Soulama gifted Kotoko all the three points at stake after he mis-kicked a back pass from Richard Akrofi into his own net.

Kotoko now occupy the ninth position with 14 points from 10 games.
