Supporters of Ghana Premier League newbies Techiman City in Canada and the USA have donated football equipment worth $5000 to the club after a short visit by club President Charles Kwadwo Ntim.

The supporters in Calgary, Canada led by former footballer Nketsiah Yawson and Amo Appiah donated equipment worth $3000 to the club.

The Techiman community in Worcester Massachusetts, USA, led by Yaw Sam donated items worth $1,500 and have pledge to do more in the coming days.

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko and BA United striker Asamoah Arhin also donated equipment worth $500 to the Club.

Popularly known as Micky Charles, the Techiman City President was full of praise after receiving the equipment.

"We will like to express our greatest gratitude to the people of Techiman in Canada and USA for their support," he said.

"We know we can only make them happy by maintaining our position in the Premier League which we are determined to do," he added.
