Wa All Stars General Manager Seth Panwum blasts Referee William Agbovi for side’s 1-0 loss to Medeama

The General Manager of Wa All Stars, Seth Panwum, has blamed Fifa Referee William Agbovi for being biased against his side in their 1-0 loss to Medeama SC.

According to him, the three times best Ghanaian referee was took one-sided decisions to assist the home side to win the game.

Speaking on the game, Seth Panwum said the one sided decisions taken on the day costed his side a much deserved point(s) away to Medeama SC.

"When decisions like what we witnessed at Medeama SC remains in the league, I doubt if the league will reach the heights we are craving for,' he said.

'Football should be allowed to flow and matches won on the basis of who is better on the day. '

'I am not in the right position to doubt the credibility of an experienced referee like Williams Agbovi or any of his team members, but some decisions really went against us harshly and eventually won the game for Medeama SC,' he lamented.

The name of the game is fair play and must be followed", Seth Panwum told reporters after game.

Wa All Stars however still maintained their place at the top of the log despite the defeat ahead of another away trip to Techiman on Sunday.
