Benjamin Bature’s 14th minute goal was enough for Medeama Sporting Club to beat first placed Wa All Stars at the Tarkwa T&A Park on Sunday, May 1, 2016.

The 1-0 win has propelled the Mauve and Yellow side to leapfrog to the ninth position on the league table with 13 points but All Stars are still on top with 20 points.

Dreams FC returned to winning ways after going a two-match winless streak against Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea. Godfred Asante and Eric Gawu scored for Dreams Football Club.

Eric Bekoe pulled one back for Sekondi Hasaacas but it was too little too late for the giant from the West to salvage a point at the Dawu Park.

Three-star Aduana beat Liberty Professionals 3-2 at the Carl Reindorf Park with goals from Zakaria Mumuni, Yahya Mohammed, and Derrick Sasraku. Latif Blessing and Edward Ebo Mends were also on target for the scientific soccer lads.

New Edubiase United came from behind to pip Berekum Chelsea 2-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

A late own goal from Isaac Baah saved Inter Allies from losing against sensational Techiman City FC at the Tema Park.

At the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast, Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs had to wait for a last minute strike from Michael Insaidoo to cancel out Fuseini Nuhu’s first half goal for AshantiGold SC.

West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) lost 0-2 to Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour Park.
