Medeama SC to stop All Stars

League Report Medeama SC to stop All Stars
MAY 1, 2016 LISTEN

Wa All Stars will have their lead on the league table cut to size as they come face-to-face with Medeama Sporting Club on Sunday in Matchday 10 of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa T&A Park.

Medeama Sporting Club has not had a good run this season, but that can partially be attributed to their busy engagement, combining the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Confederations Cup coupled with their smaller squad.

Wa All Stars are on top of the league ladder with 20 points having lost only a match on the road. Medeama SC on the other hand is twelfth with 10 points, but playing in front of their home crowd will propel them to sip a win out of All Stars’ sail.

Liberty Professionals will be seeking to maintain their home invincibility as they host Aduana Stars at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman, Accra.

Aduana Stars had a turbulent start to the season, but they seem to be okay now judging from their current position on the table (eighth) with 13 points.

Liberty Professionals skill workshop (Latif Blessing) is assured of at least a goal anytime he plays at the Carl Reindorf Park and I don’t see Aduana Stars stopping him from scoring.

Liberty Professionals are going to have it tough against Aduana but I still fancy them to come out as victors at the end of the day.

Depreciating Dreams FC will welcome Sekondi Hasaacas to the Dawu Park (Theatre of Dreams) where they lost their last home match to Asante Kotoko. Coach C. Akunnor’s side have scored 0 point in their last two games and is poised to lash out hard at Hasaacas.

Dreams FC have slipped to the seventh position with 14 points whiles Hasaacas are wandering above the relegation zone with 10 points and on thirteenth position.

Red hot Eric Bekoe would be seeking to increase his goal tally but trust Dreams FC to redeem its lost image by picking a win over Hasaacas.

New Edubiase United will host former CAF Champions League campaigners, Berekum Chelsea at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium. Matches between these two sides have always been very difficult to predict regardless of the venue, but I strongly believe that New Edubiase will snitch a win over Chelsea.

AshantiGold Sporting Club will be the guest of Ebusua Dwarfs at their favourite Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. Both sides lost in their last matches and will be seeking to make amends but the mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs needs the points more badly and for that reason I think they’ll knock the miners out in this game.

Inter Allies will welcome the sensational Techiman City FC (TCFC) to the Tema Park.

Inter Allies are indeed struggling to find the back of the nets despite threading some good soccer and coming up against Techiman City is one thing that every coach would like to avoid due to the spirit of comrade around the Brong Ahafo soccer entertainers.

Techiman City is stronger at home than away and I think Inter Allies will take solace in this fact to stage a winning case against Techiman City but should Baba Mahama (The football President) get his day then the story is rather going to be reciprocal.

Bechem United will host the West Africa Football Academy at the Bechem Park in a match which looks likely to end in a draw.

However, the match between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium will be played on Monday, May 2.

PREDICTIONS
Medeama SC 2-1 All Stars
Liberty Prof. 3-2 Aduana Stars
New Edubiase United 1-0 Berekum Chelsea
Dreams FC 3-1 Hasaacas
Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 AshantiGold
Inter Allies 1-0 Techiman City
Bechem United 2-2 WAFA
