Medeama President Moses Parker throws weight behind top Swedish coach Tom Strand

Medeama President Moses Parker has hailed coach Tom Strand and backed him to lead the club to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian side made it to the final qualification stage after beating Sudanese side Al Shandi 2-0 in Tarkoradi.

Before that they had put up an impressive performance to come away with a 0-0 score line in the first leg.

President Moses Parker says the technical team led by Tom Strand has done a good job in bringing the team this far.

'Tom Strand has been very cooperative and very understanding and that is why the team is doing very well,' Moses Parker told Accra based Happy FM

'Strand deserves commendation because he has really impressed and now the entire technical team is very happy with the way things are going.'

"I am very certain that he will lead us to group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup."
