Kevin Prince Boateng should make his first Milan start in three years against Carpi tonight and will be playing for a new contract, say reports.

Gazzetta dello Sport writes today that Rossoneri Coach Cristian Brocchi will give the Ghanaian a starting spot for the first time since May 2013 this evening.

The 29-year-old re-joined the club in January and has rarely featured, but he looks set to line up in the trequartista role at San Siro.

Juraj Kucka's suspension and Andrea Berloacci's knock have handed Boateng an opportunity, as Giacomo Bonaventura will drop back into a midfield three alongside Riccardo Montolivo and Andrea Poli.

Calciomercato.it believes that the attacking midfielder will be playing for his future and will need to convince the club to give him an extension in the next few games.

The Ghana international currently has a deal that expires in June, but has until the end of the season to convince Milan of his ability.
