Deputy Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu expects in-form Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila to move from Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia at the end of the season due to his explosive form.

The Black Stars defender has been in splendid form for the Kuwaiti League leaders ensuring that they have conceded the least number of goals in the season so far.

And the Local Black Stars head coach believes it is time he leaves the oil rich country to play in the leagues in mainstream Europe.

'I have personally told him that he was too young to go to Kuwait but in football, you go where you are needed,' Maxwell told GHANAsoccernet.com.

'His performance this season is enough to attract other clubs from Europe and I know he will move.'

'Rashid is still a young player and must work harder to come to mainstream Europe to face real competition there to better his performance.'

Sumaila has scored three goals in 27 matches as a defender and has won several Player of the Match awards.

He was recently voted the club's player of the month of March and is in contention for the defender of the season award in the Kuwaiti Premier League.
