Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has decided to relinquish his captain’s band because of recent injuries which has seen him play only game in Ghana’s last four matches.
The SIPG striker in an exclusive chat with Joy Sports confirmed that he has sent a letter to the Ghana FA to inform them of his decision.
The striker stated recurring injuries has necessitated his decision to relinquish the captain’s band.
“There are doubts, I cannot say but there might be a miracle.”
“It is quite frustrating but I can assure Ghanaians everything will be fine.”
