FEB 14, 2016 LISTEN

Accra Hearts of Oak wrapped up their pre-season preparations with a 4-1 win over newly promoted premier league side Dreams FC in a two sided friendly game at the Dawu Park on Sunday.

The Phobians who have had torrid off-season campaign made their experience count at the Dawu Park as they out-muscled the Kweiman based club to announce their readiness ahead of the Ghana premier league start billed for 20 February, 2016.

In the first game, the Phobians had an easy run over the league debutants by beating Dreams FC  2-0, thanks to goals from defender Isaac Oduro and tall lanky forward Kwame Kizito.

However, the second game saw a lot of action from both sides, but it was the former premier league champions who took control of the game as the likes of Mustapha Essuman and Sabbah Laryea were a delight to watch in the game.

Eric Kumi broke the deadlock in the second game, but Leonard Owusu restored parity for Dreams FC before Mustapha Essuman registered his name on the scoresheet for the Phobians.

At the end of the two leg friendly, the Phobians won the game 4-1.

Hearts of Oak will host New Edubiase  in their opening fixture of the 2015/16 league campaign while Dreams FC play as guests to Dwarfs.
