Asante Kotoko have been hit by a major blow ahead of the Ghana premier league as their influential midfielder Jackson Owusu suffered a broken left leg in a community friendly game on Sunday.
Owusu who risk spending sometime on the sidelines was rushed to the Akomfo Anokye Teaching hospital in his private car.
Communication Director of the club Kwaku Ahenkorah confirmed the Owusu's injury to the club's online Portal, stating that the incident occurred during a Sunday morning community game at the Maakro park in Kumasi.
But according to information gathered by Pulse.com.gh, preliminary assessment of the injury by the Doctors at the hospital suggests that he suffered a complete fracture of the tibia.
