A high level tennis competition is expected at the Ravico Tennis Club (RTC), Nungua in Accra when RTC host their Gold Fields Tarkwa Mines Tennis Club counterparts tomorrow.
PRO of RTC Bernard Annoh has pointed out that the visitors would present a 25-member squad for the two-day tourney which forms part of the club's program to engage tennis clubs across the country.
He mentioned that his club will travel for the return encounter at a future date.
The PRO said “The essence of belonging should be encouraged among all of us to ensure social bond, hence the organization of such tournaments.”
“We hope these tournaments will enrich our relationship with many clubs in the country.”
Birthed in 2008, the Royal Tennis Club is headed by Stephen Antwi-Asimeng ( CEO of UT Bank)
The tournament is being supported by Berlin Sports & Fitness, Halcyon Angel Capital Ltd, DMT Collateral, Royal Ravico Hotel and Emerald Properties Limited.
