New York Red Bulls Sporting chief hails capture of Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah

New York Red Bulls Sporting Director Ali Curtis has hailed the signing of hugely talented Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah.

Baah completed a two-year deal with the American Major Soccer League side on Tuesday.

The former Kotoko defender joins from Finnish side HJK Helsinki.

And New York Red Bulls Sporting Director Ali Curtis is delighted with capture of the highly-rated Ghanaian.

'Gideon has all the characteristics we were looking for in a central defender,' he said

'He fits our style of play extremely well and we are anxious to have him get started with our club.'

The former Honka FC defender is expected to receive his International Transfer Certificate by the close of the week.
