AIK Stockholm coach Andreas Alm has ruled out injured Ebenezer Ofori for their opening league campaign.
The ace midfielder is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury during last Friday's pre-season against Norwegian side Molde in Dubai.
It was the same injury which sent him to the infirmary at the tail end of last season.
AIK Stockholm opened their Allsvenskan campaign on 3 April against GIF Sundsvall but will have to prepare without their talisman.
"He is far from starting a match. Looking at his foot and the general state of the body, there is a job to do with him to get him back into play,' Alm told Expressen.
Ofori was named best midfielder in the Allsvenskan last season.
