AshGold midfielder Kadiri Mohammed has voiced his frustrations after his side lost 1-0 to Medeama in the 2016 Super Cup game.
The Miners succumbed to a painful 1-0 defeat at the hands of Medeama on Sunday evening with Fredrick Quayeson's disallowed goal for AshGold underpinning controversies surrounding the game.
AshGold midfielder Kadiri Mohammed who played full throttle on the day says his side only lost because there was unfair officiating.
'I know very well that in football one can play well and lose but trust me were not given a fair game,' Kadiri told Ghanasoccernet.com
'Referees in this country are unfair and that is destroying our game here.'
'If this game was fair we would not have lost it at all.'
The Obuasi based club showed their disappointment on the day by boycotting the medal ceremony after the final whistle.
