London, Feb. 5, (GNA/dpa) - Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky will be out for three months after suffering yet another injury.
The 35-year-old picked up a thigh injury on Saturday in his first match back after missing the previous seven months.
The Czech international is out of contract at the end of the season but manager Arsene Wenger said on Friday he hoped he would play again.
"His injury is quite a serious one, a muscular injury," Wenger told his pre-match press conference.
"The good news is he will not need surgery, it's a partial rupture of his tendon.
"How long does it take? Two months to three months, we don't know.
"We are all of course, shocked and he is the most shocked. We have to be patient and hope that it is not his last game.
"I don't want to be dramatic, he suffers enough at the moment. I'm more with a support attitude rather than anything dramatic."
