Asante Kotoko Deputy Operation Manager Ali Maradona has mocked bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak over their decision to choose Kenichi Yatsuhashi has their coach, insisting they picked him on social media.

According to Maradona, the Accra-based side came in to close contact with the Japanese-American trainer vie facebook before the 46-year old Aspire Academy Coach flew down to Ghana for negotiations.

'The story of this new Hearts of Oak coach has generated a lot of controversies as to where he was and on what track record they saw before signing him.

But I can confidently tell you that the coach (Kenichi Yatsuhashi) was seen on Facebook by a Hearts 'Big Man' and they started chatting', Ali Maradona told Ghanasoccernet.com.

'Anyone within the Hearts of Oak set up must confront me and I'll reveal the source because the source is within their own club. A very big man in the club told me.'

'They never knew the coach anywhere, whoever will tell you that he/she knew the coach before his appointment is a liar. I know the person who did the chatting with him on Facebook and after watching the coach's pictures, asked him if he would love to coach in Ghana and the coach agreed', He added.

The appointment of the former Aspire Academy trainer was met with huge disapproval by old directors and ardent fans of the club with claims that he does not have the requisite qualities and experience to handle a club like Hearts of Oak.
