Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has been named in the Lorient squad to face Stade Reims on Saturday following his recovery from injury. 

Waris, 24, suffered a muscle problem three weeks ago and has sat out of Lorient's last four games in all competitions.

But, the four-goal striker return to training this week after recovering from his injury and Lorient manager Sylvain Ripoll has named him in his 18-man squad for the game at the Stade Yves Allainmat - Le Moustoir.

In the game he suffered the injury - 2-2 draw against Stade Rennes, the former Swedish top-flight Golden Shoe Award winner, scored a fabulous finish before limping off with the injury.

Lorient Squad: Lecomte, Chaigneau - Gassama, Paye, Touré, Karamoko, Bellugou, Guerreiro, Le Goff - Barthelmé, Mesloub, Mulumba, Abdullah, Jouffre, Philippoteaux - Waris, Jeannot, Moukandjo.

Waris has played 10 league games for Lorient since the start of the season and will be seeking to improve his scoring numbers tonight.
