Ghana star Michael Essien was mobbed by Panathinaikos fans at their final training session before their trip to Kalloni in the Greek Super League.
The 33-year-old underwent his final training with Andrea Stramaccioni's side on Friday ahead of their trip on Saturday and fans of the club took turns to spend time with the former Real Madrid and Chelsea star.
Essien has played six games for the Greens since his recovery from injury and has been fans favourite at the club.
The former AC Milan midfielder will meet with Ghanaian international Abdul Razak Isa who plays for Kalloni.
