Cristiano Ronaldo will snub a Premier League return and end his career at Real Madird, his agent Jorge Mendes has said.

Rumours over Ronaldo’s future at Real intensified after the three-time Ballon d’Or winner reportedly told Laurent Blanc that he would ‘love’ to play under the manager at Paris Saint-Germain.

French newspaper  Le Parisien  claimed that he added: ‘Your team play very well,’ after Real’s 1-0 win over PSG in the Champions League in early November.

But as Mendes picked up an award at Sunday’s Globe Soccer awards gala in Dubai, he emphatically revealed that his client will remain in La Liga with Real.

‘He’s the best player of all-time,’ Mendes told  Sky Sports . ‘And I am sure that he will play the next four, five, six, seven years at Real Madrid; he will end his career there.

‘He’s happy with Los Blancos; he’ll hang up his boots when he’s 40′.

Ronaldo scored a brace in Real’s incredible 10-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, December 20, and the 30-year-old has since enjoyed a trip to the United States during La Liga’s reduced winter break.

The Portuguese maestro watched the Miami Heat agonisingly lose 93-92 to the Detroit Pistons on December 22 but will now return to Rafa Benitez’s side to take on Real Sociedad at home on Wednesday.

Real are currently sitting in third position in the league with 33 points – two fewer than second-placed city rivals Atletico Madrid, and league leaders Barcelona; Luis Enrique’s holders have also played a game less.
