Munich, Nov. 26, (GNA/dpa) - Bayern Munich remain determined to decide the future of coach Pep Guardiola before the end of 2015, chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said.

"Pep Guardiola and I have always said that there would be a decision in the year 2015," Rummenigge said at an event for a sponsor. A change in this plan was "not foreseen," he added.

Discussions between club and coach are planned for after the last Bundesliga game of the year, away to Hanover on December 19.

Guardiola, 44, is in the final season of his three-year contract with Bayern and has been linked in the media with a move to England. He has recently refused to talk about his future beyond the end of the current campaign.

Bayern have made it clear, in public at least, they want Guardiola to stay. But Rummenigge stressed he was relaxed about the outcome of the talks either way.

"It always goes on," he said. "There is not a person in the world who some time does not have to be replaced. Players come, players go. That's the same for coaches. Coaches come, coaches go at some time as well."

Bayern are eight points clear at the top of the Bundesliga as they chase a record fourth consecutive championship and third under Guardiola. They are also already qualified for the knock-out phase of the Champions League.
