Asante Kotoko 80 anniversary international friendly game against Varia FC of Greece which was scheduled to happen on 11 November has been postponed to 15 November, 2015
Originally Kotoko were supposed to play their 80 anniversary match against Petrolul of Romania on 5 September, but they were replaced by Varia and the date was rescheduled to 11 October.
However, Pacific Ghana Limited, who are the organisers have postponed the date for the game, but the opponent remains the same this time around.
A former assistant Coach of Greece's national team and technical director of Veria FC, Zisis Vryzas is leading officials of his club to Kumasi next week.
A press conference will take place on October 14 at the Golden Tulip Hotel where details of Veria's travel arrangement and other information will be made known.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pacific Ghana Limited, Eric Oppong-Yeboah disclosed this to Asantekotokosc.com.
He said the match will now be played on November 15, 2015 - not October 11 as previously advertised. The trophy and medals to be presented to the winner have long been secured.
