OCT 8, 2015 LISTEN

Red-hot Swansea star Dede Ayew will not be available when Ghana engage Canada in an international friendly according to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS investigations.

The bad news makes him the latest casualty of the growing list of Black Stars players after skipper Asamoah Gyan, Abdul Majeed Waris, Rabiu Mohammed and Christian Atsu, ruling them out of the two engagements.

The former Marseille hit man, who was expected to lead the Stars against Canada in Washington on October 13 suffered a knock last Sunday in the Swansea-Tottenham league clash.

A close source to the winger, has however described the degree of the knock as not serious which could rule him out for long.

Dede has hit the back of the net four times from eight EPL games, his latest being the opener against Hotspur.

Meanwhile, the local component of the Black Stars left Accra last night to the United States of America.

Deputy coach Maxwell Konadu, back room staff as well as goalkeeper Fatau Dauda were on board ahead of next week's exhibition assignments.

Israeli trainer Avram Grant is already in the States to prepare for the game.
