Following the Appeals Committee's decision to nullify the Ethics Committee's decision on the alleged bribery case between Wa African United and Techiman City FC, the Ethics Committee has invited Officials of Wa African United and Techiman City FC to appear before its sitting on October 9, 2015 at the GFA Board room at 2:00pm.

Nana Gyamerah Kwabena Yiakwan II of Wa African United and C.E.O of Techiman City FC, Mr. Charles Kwadwo Ntim will appear before the Committee as it re-opens investigations into an alleged match-fixing between the two clubs during their 22nd week match in the GN Bank Division One League.

The Appeals Committee in its ruling stated that the Ethics Committee was not properly constituted and therefore lacked the required jurisdiction to investigate the matter in question.

Having found that the committee lacked jurisdiction, the Appeals Committee refrained from dealing with the merit or otherwise of the appeal and remitted the matter to the General Secretary of the FA to assign same to a properly constituted body to deal with same.
