Yet to be confirmed Asante Kotoko President Samuel Osei Kuffuor says he wants to make the Kotoko a global brand.
The former Black Stars and Bayern Munich defender in an interview with Metro Sports noted that he has been given the Kotoko top job but club Owner and Life patron Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is yet to confirm his appointment.
Kuffuor knows the stakes are high and has a game plan for a successful tenure.
“We want to achieve our goals and our goals are to make the fans happy and also to see the players smiling every day,” said Kuffuor
“It is not all about Sammy Kuffuor, it is a team, if you think you have an idea that will help Kotoko we will embrace it.
“We want Kotoko to go to the next level and win the African Champions League, we need to have a programme for the next five years- something that can make the club a global brand.”
