Ghana international Sulley Muntari has made his choice concerning the team he wants wining the Italian Serie A.
Muntari who played for Inter Milan and AC Milan in the Serie A ignored both of his former clubs to back Fiorentina for the Scudetto this season.
The Ghanaian player as a guest on Italian TV show Tiki Taka said when asked who he thought would win the title this season:
'I hope Fiorentina can win it, for years now the Florence-based club has been doing great things and definitely deserves to win something.'
Foirentina top the Italian Serie A table with 18 points from their opening sevn games, two points ahead of second placed Inter Milan.
Sulley Muntari currently plays for Ittihad FC where he is currently sidelined with injury. The player was in Italy on Sunday to watch his former club AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium in their game against Napoli. Milan lost the game by a convincing four goals without reply from the away side Napoli.
