Sports News Good call: Schlupp reveals Leicester's half-time penalty analysis
OCT 6, 2015 LISTEN

Jeffrey Schlupp has revealed that the Foxes squad watched replays of the penalty incident at half-time and decided it was a good call.

The Leicester utility-man, who was pushed into a left midfield position against Norwich from his recent slot at left-back, says the players huddled round a laptop to see if they had benefited from a refereeing howler during the interval at Carrow Road.

"We deserved the three points," said Schlupp, who scored City's second in the 2-1 win.

"It was a penalty, we looked at it at half time on the laptop."

Schlupp praised the bravery of England international Jamie Vardy to take the spot-kick after being brought sown in the box by Sebastian Bassong.

"Jamie Vardy is never shy to step up," he added. "We knew how fast they would come out in the second half. We countered them and got the goal when we did so it helped us settle the match."
