Praise: Waris lauds Silva performance in Man City win over Newcastle

Ghana international and Lorient attacker, Majeed Waris has lauded the performance of Manchester City midfielder David Silva in the Citizens' 6-1 thrashing of Newcastle in the EPL on Saturday.

Manuel Pellegrini's side had to endure a lot of difficulty in the first half before turning the tables around in the second half by striking 5 solid goals to win the game at the Ettihad stadium.

Newcastle stunned the home side as early as the 18th minute mark of the game through Mitrovic but before the break Manchester City drew level through their leading marks man Sergio Aguero.

However in the second half the home side had the better side of the away side as they torn apart Mcclaren's side as the Argentine international scored 5 goals and a goal from Kevin De Bryne ending the game 6-1 advantage the 203/14 EPL champions.

During the game one player in Manchester City set up that pulled the strings for the home side was Spanish international, David Silva, the diminutive silky player tormented Newcastle back four led by Fabio Coloccini and his performance has been lauded by Black Stars attacker Majeed Waris.

'All goals credit goes to Silva. It's always interesting having this pals and yaya in the game,' the Lorient attacker tweeted.
