Ghana has moved to the 25th position in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released yesterday.

The Black Stars, who are leading Group H of the ongoing 2017 AFCON qualifiers after beating Mauritius and Rwanda, moved up two places from their previous position.

Ghana now has 849 points from their previous 848.53 points.

Ghana however remains third on the continental table behind African champions Ivory Coast, who are in second and leaders Algeria.

Germany has moved to the second spot behind Argentina while Belgium moves to third.

The biggest movers in the top 50 are Norway (34th, up 35) and Cape Verde Islands (41st, up 15).

The results of 149 international ‘A’ matches have been taken into account in the October edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, of which 48 were World Cup qualifiers in the CONCACAF (12), Asia (30) and Oceania (6) zones, and 75 were qualifiers for confederation champ.
