KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko is still a big brand which continues to attract sponsorship deals from well-established companies across the globe despite the club's poor showing in the just-ended football season.

Wahid Hage, Brand Consultant for Kotoko, who made the disclosure, insisted that the club's dip in form had not affected its hard-won image.

'Despite the gloomy situation now, Kotoko's brand is still revered and attractive worldwide,' he stated categorically in a chat with DAILY GUIDE SPORTS, disclosing that 'Kotoko continues to receive attractive offers from scores of top corporate brands.'

Mr. Hage, the nephew of former Kotoko Board Member and Chairman, Assad Mallah, stated that the challenges Kotoko faced recently were temporary, stressing that there was light at the end of the tunnel for the club.

He stated that Kotoko would soon bounce back and take its rightful position as a football giant in the country and on the African continent.

Mr. Hage, who represented Kotoko at the last Soccerex Convention in Manchester, UK, said he was aware that plans were in the pipeline by management to streamline structures in the club to make it more professional and winsome.

The Kotoko Brand Consultant, who is a product of Prempeh College in Kumasi, showered praises on the Kotoko supporters in the country and the world at large, for standing firm behind the club during its turbulent season.

He predicted that Kotoko's management and board would make the necessary changes and adjustments next season, reminding the red army fans that their support would be crucially important in Kotoko's renaissance.
