Sudan based Ghanaian Football Coach Moses Cofie has expressed deep interest coaching glorious Accra Hearts of Oak. Speaking to yours truly in an exclusive interview the former Accra Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Liberty Professionals player said his desire and aim is to unearth and groom young talents to become great stars.

According to Moses Cofie who is in his third time in Sudan as a Football coach with El Nisoor FC having been in the country since 2011, he shared the same vision with the late Sly Tetteh and they planned to create opportunities for young African players to develop and play against or with the best of the world.

Moses Cofie, an experienced coach in his own standard, having worked with the late Sly Tetteh of Liberty Professionals fame for a long time said the local league is very competitive that was why the so called big clubs like Hearts and Asante Kotoko were struggling to survive.

He promised to transform Hearts if given the opportunity.”I know the terrain in Ghana because I have played before and I know how a players feels to win or lose, with or without motivation. I know Hearts is a very big club with big ambitions to be the best always. I am ever ready to come down to help Hearts especially in the African Cup” he said.

On why he chosed Hearts instead of Liberty Professionals, he noted that Hearts want bigger things than Liberty and since Hearts is a bigger club, they always want to be the best and he wants to help them reach that goal.

He urged Hearts supporters to be calm as the future is always bright for the Phobians.

Moses Cofie is currently regarded as one of the best technical brains in Sudan, where former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah is also a top coach.
