Black Stars starting line up for AFCON qualifier against Rwanda

Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew will partner Richmond Boakye-Yiadom for the Black Stars as they take on Rwanda in the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifying match in Kigali on Saturday afternoon.

Injured skipper Asamoah Gyan will be on the bench for Ghana as the Black Stars take on their Rwandan counterparts in the second group match of the qualifiers.

Coach Avram Grant has also named Harrison Afful, Daniel Amartey, John Boye and Chelsea's Baba Rahman as his defence quartet for this afternoon's match against the Amavubi (The Wasps).

Swansea's EPL player of the month Andre Ayew will captain the team for this afternoon's match with Christian Atsu and Afriyie Acquah set to join him in midfield.

Razak Braimah will be in post Ghana for the match which is scheduled for the Stade Amahoro at 1:30pm (GMT).
