The Board, Management and Staff of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Headline Sponsor

of the Black Stars, have expressed confidence in the team, ahead of its second match of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers.

In a message to the team, the Chief Executive of GNPC, Mr. Alexander Kofi-Mensah Mould, congratulated the team on its triumphant take-off in the maiden match and urged them to approach the next match with the same passion.

'We are proud of your sparkling performance against your Mauritian counterparts, and urge you to maintain the same form as you meet your Rwandese counterparts in your second match on Saturday, 5 September, 2015 in Kigali,' Mr. Mould said.

He urged the team to be guided by professionalism, teamwork, and discipline, focusing on victory in the match.

'We urge you the players, the technical and management teams, to work in unison. You can attain what you have set out to achieve - victory,' the GNPC boss urged.
