There was misery all round for Bologna Saturday afternoon as they were defeated 1-0 by Alfred Duncan's Sassuolo and also lost Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah to injury.
The 18-year-old was forced off in the 55th minute with a shoulder injury, and was replaced by Amadou Diawara.
Delio Rossi's side went on to lose the game with a goal from Antonio Floro Flores giving the visitors the the three maximum.
After the game, the extent of Donsah's injury was clear, as he has been ruled out for ten days, meaning the defensive midfielder will miss Ghana's friendly against Congo on September 1st as well as the upcoming 2017 AFCON qualifer against Rwanda in Kigali.
Donsah has been rewarded by head coach Avram Grant for his impressive form last season in the Serie A when he scored two goals in 21 appearances for relegated Cagliari.
