Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Premier League Board (PLB) have taken a decision to let the First Capital Plus Premier League undergo three weeks break, while all attention will be shifted to the FA Cup final and the rest of the Elite Cup games.

'The Ghana Premier League will go on break after the 28 day matches on 16 August to enable all the other GFA competitions ie. FA Cup, Elite Cup and Division One League to be completed, before the Premier League resumes for the 29 and 30 day matches on 16 and 13 September 2015 respectively.

'This program/calendar has been on the GFA/PLB website since the beginning of the season,' Abra Appiah the Chairman of the PLB said in a press release.

The Ghana Premier League will take in all the 8 league centres on Sunday, before it takes a three weeks break.

Ashgold are still leading the pack with three points separating them from their closest competitor Aduana Stars, with three matches to end the season.
